chercicidesigns
Welcome to chercicidesigns. Since I am new at blogging, please be patient with me for a while. I am good at designing, but a bit technologically challenged. I would love to share some of my ideas with you. It is the technology which might occasionally get in the way!

Some of you asked me to share the template for the flip flop card. It is called "winging it".
I'd share my template with you all except my blogging skills are rather lacking so i am not sure how to do it. You can do this, though, trace a child,s flip flop and draw another one slightly smaller. I just kept drawing the top piece til I was satisfied of what it looked like and added the ribbon wrapped around the top piece. Hope that helps.

Card for June 2012 bog hop for Papertrey Ink
I decided to "shop my stash" to make this card for Papertrey's blog hop on Monday. I used paper and ribbon scraps, random flowers and as I was rummaging around in my card patterns, I found the flipflop template and modified it to make a card. The 2 foot shapes are embossed with my Cuttlebug and the ribbon was ruffled with Scoretape. The sentiments used are from the new set, "Flipping Out" from PTI. Yellow Tart is the paper used as well as flowers and brads I had on hand. The inside of the card says: "Have a flippin' great birthday."
Once again, I am a confused blogger. I thought that I was creating another site which would be a way to be more visible to the public so I created another account, preknana, but I really have no time to manage another blog so stick with this one! If anyone can shed light on this, please let me know!

Challenge card for Papertrey Ink
For this card, I punched out a mask with a scallop circle punch, sponged and stamped around the mask.
Cardstock is from Papertrey Ink and StampinUp!. Stamp set is Papertrey's set, Flip Out. I used flower stickers for embellishments, popped up flipflop with mounting tape. Lacey border punch is Martha Stewart.

Butterflies !!!
This is another card inspired from Paper Crafts Magazine.
It is cut in one piece out of double sided paper. I used a pattern which I made up from the picture in the magazine. The sentiments are from Papertrey Ink. Antennae are made from buttonhole thread and attached with a glue dot with a hole punched out and placed over it.

Zipper Card
This is a card using one of Papertrey Ink's new interactive dies. When pulled , the perforated place at the bottom reveals the sentiment "Happy Birthday". The quilt design uses fabric.

Card made with Papertrey Ink interactive slider die
I made these cards with fabric from my favorite scrappbooking store in Lancaster - Farmhouse Memories. For the first one, I cut out the fabric after running a piece through my Xyron. The train slides back and forth. Fun!
The second one is glued to a background paper from I think Basic Grey paper pack.
