Finally found some time to make an Easter card.  Directions an tutorial for the basic box were found online, then you make it your own.

I made some photo cards for my daughter to do her cards this year. They were really fun to make. They were done with Papertrey Ink photo card dies.

It is almost January and I haven't shared anything since October! Here are my cards for 2013 and some Christmas gifts which I made this year. It is amazing how much time I had with not having to do do school work during my free time!

Several girls in the family received these cookie aprons this year.

Felt Barrette Gifts

I can't believe it has been so long since I wrote anything on my blog.  My life took a very different turn since the last post.  In June I lost one of my best friends, I retired from teaching preschool, and in August I lost my mom.  Since retiring, I have begun babysitting our year old granddaughter, full time, and she is terrific!  But I don't have as much time as I'd like to craft.  I try to work on projects while K is napping.  Thank heavens she still takes AM AND PM naps!

Here are the latest cards I have worked on.  I also have enjoyed making felt covered barrettes using Papertrey ink dies.  Some will be Christmas gifts.

Here is a card I made for Challenge #10 -"Use Buttons" over on Paper Playtime.  I used Cricut Cart. Teddy Bear Parade, sentiment from Hero Arts, and papers from my stash.

Here is this year's Mother's Day card which I will send to my mom and mother-in-law.  It has been entered in the CardzTV challenge #29.

Worked on some birthday cards for my stash today.

 This card is entered into the PTI blog hop, but I am so blog challenged, I don't know whether I did it correctly.

This is one of several birthday cards needed for the weekend.  I used PTI stamp set: Happy Hexagons and Perls of Wisdom, Stampin UP papers and button, and Adirondak inks.  Until today I hadn't used any of PTI's felt but I LOVE it.  It cut with a Nestabilities die on my Cuttlebug like it was butter!
Inside it finishes the sentiment Wishing  . . . you a wonderful birthday stitched up with love.

For these cards, I used Stampin Up! whisper white card base, glitter paper, Dazzle stickers, Spellbinders pearl embellishments, and stamps which I had on hand.

Here is a thank you card I made for a Cardz TV and tpe challenge.  One of my favorite quotes which says:
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. (aesop).

My camera's not the greatest so I apologize for the darkness in this one.  I learned how to make paper mini quilt squares at my favorite scrapbooking store, Farmhouse Memories in Lancaster.  The possibilities are endless . . . . .

This year's Easter card inspired by Papertrey Ink

I've been MIA for a while.  I was soooo extremely busy right before surgery on March 19, trying to plan 4-6 weeks lessons and prepare projects for school while I recuperate from a hysterectomy.  Now I am back and have lots of time to create cards and try to figure out how to effectively blog while I recover.  The technology still is stumping me.

Here is an inspiration project for Papertrey Ink.  I created Bingo game cards (4 cards per set for my preschoolers) as Valentine's Day gifts.  I used mostly Papertrey set Valentine Treats to stamp onto each block of the blank bingo cards which I made on my computer.
